Yinbin Foodstuff & meat Group Co. Ltd. is a stated-owned meat process enterprise. With a staff of over 160, the company has total assets of RMB25 million Yuan, and cover a land of 30,000 sq. M. There are many trees and much grassland in the company, so it is called garden plant.
The company was build in 1979,which has advanced frozen system, process work-line and process equipment. All the equipment are designed according to the hygienic standard of Europe Union. The company owns a series of workshops, including a frozen rabbit workshop with the capacity of 15,000 rabbits and producing 10 tons frozen rabbits per team, a frozen beef workshop which could process 100 cattle and producing 15 tons frozen beef per team, a frozen mutton workshop with capacity of processing 500 and producing 2 tons frozen mutton per team. The company owns a quick frozen workshop with capacity of 50 tons per day, and a cold store with reserves of 1,500 tons . The company owns a water supply station of 160 tons per day and sewage station of 300 tons per day. The frozen rabbit workshop obtained registration in U.K. in 1996, and the experts made an examination of the frozen rabbit workshop in 1999, the registration will be obtained in the nearly future. The frozen beef workshop obtained registration in Russia in july,1998. Because of Russian economic untoward circumstance and UN trade barrier , the company has to limit producing and make a loss these years. Yinbin city is located in the south of Sichuan Province , which have many small mountains , agreeable climate , much water and grass. There are rich livestock resources just as pig, cattle, goat, rabbit, duck, goose and so on. Up to now 30 rabbit breeding farms have been build around the company in the 100 KM, which can supply 3 million to 5 million rabbits each year. Yibin city abound in black goat and NANJIANG yellow goat and can supply 500,000 goats every year.
The main products of company are frozen rabbit, frozen beef and frozen mutton. The frozen rabbit exports to Europe and Japan, frozen beef exports to Hongkong and Russia , frozen mutton exports to Hongkong and southeast Asia.
